Turkey Creek First Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Dr. Dan Middlebrooks
Senior Pastor
Dr. Middlebrooks was appointed to serve as Turkey Creek First Baptist Church's Senior Pastor September 2023. Dr. Middlebrooks retired in 2013 after serving 26 years as a Chaplain in the United States Army. He and his family returned back home to Plant City, Florida.
He graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1994 with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and Erskine Theological Seminary in 2008 with a Doctorate in Ministry (DMin).
Dr. Middlebrooks has served his community as a Chaplain for multiple Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, and Security agencies including the FBI, Tampa Division.
Dr. Middlebrooks has been happily married for over 36 years to his wife, Arienne and have 2 daughters, Erica & Allison. They believe and live the life motto; “Bloom where God plants you!”
Rev. Terry L. Clark
Minister of Worship & Mission
Reverend Clark was appointed to serve as Turkey Creek First Baptist Church's Worship Pastor in November of 2019. Prior to that, he served as Worship Pastor in Florida at churches in Avon Park, Bradenton, Orlando, Sanford, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.
Terry has served as the President of the Florida Baptist Music Conference. He also served as a District Music consultant for 5 years. He has been a member of the Florida Worship Choir & Orchestra since 1971.
Terry was ordained at Balllast Point Baptist Church, Tampa in 1971.
Terry has been happily married for 52 to his wife, Colette. They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.

Chaplain Jim Wigh
Director of Education & Evangelism
Chaplain Jim served in the USMC for 3 years of active duty, with an additional 8 years in the Reserve. Jim retired from GTE after 30 years.
Over the last 55 years of being a Christian, Chaplain Jim has been involved in many ministries including the Jail Ministry.
Chaplain Jim and his wife Sandy met at a church that hosted a Christian singles event. They have been married for over 42 years. Sandy has 3 daughters and Jim has 2 sons. Together they have 5 children and 11 grandchildren.
